Primavera Sound 2017 – Spain’s biggest music festival!

The much anticipated Primavera Sound returns to Barcelona in just over a month on the 31st of May.

The festival showcases the best in music on an international scale year on year. During the days of the festival, Barcelona will transform into an epicentre for music lovers, joining together all types of music from rock to hip hop to electronic. Experience internationally recognised artists and the best DJs as well as local groups ready to show their talent to the world.

Primavera Sound Barcelona

This year marks this seventeenth edition of the festival. Its origins trace back to 2001 with just 7,700 attendees and it has grown more and more each year, reaching an incredible 207,435 attendees last year. Each year the festival gets bigger and better, changing location to accommodate the maximum number of festival-goers.
