From Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th of October, the Poble Espanyol in Barcelona turns into a medieval village with a large range of activities to please children and adults.
The opening ceremony will take place on Friday at 6pm with a pyrotechnic show, fireworks and acrobats. A delight for your eyes!

The Poble Espanyol, a village in the heart of the city, and the ideal place to discover the typical Spanish architecture. Indeed, the Poble Espanyol is a reproduction of 117 buildings, streets and squares from villages all around Spain.
Supposed to last only six month, the Poble Espanyol is actually still standing thanks to its success. With craft workshops and lots of building illustrating the diversity of Spanish architecture, it is one of the most interesting place to visit in Barcelona.
The main place of the Poble Espanyol will host a big craft market where you will discover the kind of life that the heroes of our bedtime stories used to live, and even a medieval tavern to take a rest while sipping mead.
The youngest have their own area at their disposal to go on a journey through time, the rincón infantil where they will learn how to do archery, falconry, defend the ramparts, rebuild the castle…
Of course, the bravest knights will attend this exceptional event. They will show you their armors, shields and weapons.
Who has never dreamed of seeing an actual knight’s fight? Well, be glad, because this dream will come true in the Poble Espanyol!
And after having visited the past, you can have a look at the future in the esoteric space that will host several fortune tellers.
