The Beer Festival returns this spring to Poble Espanyol of Barcelona! From 30th April to 3rd May Poble Espanyol will be transformed into a typical German Biergarten. There will be beer and food,live musc, workshops,competitions,prizes,fun and surprises for everybody.During the 19th century, Biergärten was located in the Bavaria region in Germany, specifically in Munich.
In German Biergärten means ¨beer garden¨ and it has become one of the most important traditions of the area.The Spanish Village of Barcelona on the Montjuic hill adopts this festive tradition, which is suitable for all nationalities and ages. You will have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of German beers and specialty foods such as the beloved: frankfurter, bratwurst, Kartoffel salad, pretzels, etc.
There are many activities organised for every member of the family.Fun contests such as jar lifting, “the giant sausage”competitions and “the spicy sausage”, etc.
You will also have the chance to attend workshops on brewing at home and learning to serve beer shooters.People will enjoy music by a blues live performance and a DJs. Plenty of activities are organised for the kids to keep them entertained.There will be cooking workshop where children of the house learn how to prepare some funny shaped Frankfurt octopus or ghost.
